FILL YOUR WINTER WITH FUN AND FITNESS AND EARN THE “WINTER SPORTS” BADGE!
Junior Girl Scouts can spend a day or evening at Thunder Ridge Ski Area in Patterson, New York and experience the thrills and chills of skiing or snowboarding. Learn the safety requirements for skiers, winter health hazards, first aid for cold, how to get ready for the slopes, and what it's like to work in the ski industry. Practice your skills or learn the basics from our certified Ski and Snowboard instructors!

Your day will include a one hour ski or snowboard lesson, rental equipment (if needed), lift ticket for the day, hot chocolate (of course), snack and all the activities required to earn the Junior “Winter Sports” badge. Dress warmly and bring a bag lunch or dinner. (Cafeteria is available for meal purchase, if desired.)
